Overview
Own Your Digital Infrastructure
Quollix (/ˈkwɒlɪks/) is an open-source platform for running your own services. It can be self-hosted or, where offered, used as a hosted service without giving up control over your data and operations. Apps are installed, updated, and maintained through a central interface, with secure defaults and automated operations. Quollix handles repetitive infrastructure work, allowing teams to focus on using their services rather than maintaining servers. It acts as a unified access layer between users and the apps they run.

Why Quollix?
Many organizations face a difficult choice:
- hosted services that are convenient but often hard to leave,
- or self-hosting that offers control but demands constant technical effort.
Quollix fills the gap between these extremes.
- Easy to operate: apps are installed, updated, and backed up centrally.
- Portable by design: self-host it or use hosted Quollix, then migrate away when you choose.
- Opinionated defaults: standardized, secure setup that works out of the box.
- No lock-in: keep full access to your data and applications at all times.
- Extensible: install official apps or deploy your own.
Independence and Privacy
Quollix is fully independent and has no external investors or shareholders. This independence allows the project to focus on user control, privacy, and long-term product stability rather than short-term profit incentives. Quollix does not rely on user data collection or monetization. Optional anonymous telemetry may be enabled to help improve the software, but it is strictly opt-in. Using Quollix does not require an external account.
